How To Support The Springfield Alumni Foundation

Your contribution can help to seed our efforts and create success for this community-wide organization. What can you do to help ?

 

1. We are soliciting “seed monies” and operational support  for start-up operations, which includes maintaining this website, building a database, and hiring an Executive Director to help the organization move forward.   Donations of any size are welcome, and may be made by sending a check to Springfield Alumni Foundation, c/o Springfield High, 701 E. Home Rd. Springfield, OH  45503.  Donations are tax deductible. 

2. We are preparing  a capital campaign to raise funds toward building an Auditorium at the New Springfield High School.  This new school, built to accomodate 2,000 students, opened in September 2008.   School district funds were extremely limited and as a result the school does not have an auditorium.   We will accept donations to the capital campaign and hold those monies in reserve for the auditorium, if the donor desires.

3.  Alumni, staff, and friends can visit www.SpringfieldOhioAlumni.org  to register.  Registration is free and allows people to select items which are of greatest interest.  As we develop our database, this website will:

    o Provide alumni news and link alumni with similar interests (sports, drama, band, etc.) 
    o Assist alumni and friends who want to support current students and staff.
    o Help Springfield High School publicize events, such as homecoming, concerts, or special events.
    o Assist alumni in planning class reunions.
